AC/DC Brian Jonston going mutton as USA tour postponed
Rock and Roll is Noise Pollution

Australian rock band AC/DC are postponing the rest of their US tour after singer Brian Johnson was warned he is going deaf.
The band posted a statement on their website saying doctors had advised Johnson to stop touring immediately or "risk total hearing loss".
They said they would likely perform with a guest vocalist in rescheduled shows later this year.
Johnson, 68, from Gateshead, has been lead singer with AC/DC since 1980.
The news is the latest in a series of setbacks for the band.
Former drummer Phil Rudd was convicted last year of drug possession and making threats to kill. He served eight months of home detention.
In 2014, it emerged that founding member and guitarist Malcolm Young would not be joining the band on tours as he was suffering from dementia.
The band released its latest album Rock or Bust in November that year and has been touring ever since to promote it.

Hope the West Ham gig OK.

Had two emails so far from Ticketmaster telling me that 'extra tickets have been released for AC/DC'.

Wonder how many of those are the returns? I'm guessing quite a lot..

I worked for a staging co on the black ice tour, easiest tour I have ever done.

For the Wembley gig last year they were like gold dust. There were hardly any touts about on the day either.

I'd be really interested to know what the refund total is, but I doubt they'll be publicising that figure.

The ones for sale on GetMeIn and Stubhub are pretty much face value at the moment. Can see these dipping below face.

I'm sure it wasn't like that for the last Wembley gig?

Bruce, if Scott had sang on it it'd be number one. 😀

You always seem to forget about Back in Black, ray.

You know, the 3rd biggest selling album of all time. Don't remember Bon singing on that.

ray - unduly harsh on Beano as he's become the face of ACDC and has plenty of his own records in the back catalogue. Plus he's a likeable bloke whereas Axl is a cunt.

Well Johnson's been doing it since Scott died so what's the difference?

joe - Stargreen are always my ticket go-to, their website doesn't get overrun like the usual TM or see on gigs where demand is high. Plus you can call them and speak to someone who knows what they are talking about too. Great place.

Will be embarrassing for them to go out and play in that stadium to about 15k people. They need to move it inside. It's not like there is even a decent support bill to pull the crowd in either.

I fully expect groupon deals and 2 for 1's to be around by the end of May.

Stargreen , now that's a blast from the past , used to go out with a girl that worked at the Oxford Circus branch over 25 years ago.

Surprised they are still going.

Just got my refund from Stargreen, £81.50 it was including booking fee.
What a joke price to see Axl do Karaoke.

I'm gonna spend the money on rambling man festival instead.

torn between wanting to stand in the middle of the stadium at pitch level and take it in and not wanting to see a karaoke version of acdc

I'm also taking up the offer of a refund. Seen Axl Rose perform enough times not to want to again.
